Peoria's Pioneer Days 5K & 1 Mile Walk

Peoria’s Pioneer Days 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk takes place at the Peoria Community Center on Saturday morning, April 10, 2010. This is the 2nd running of this annual 5K running race & 1 mile walk. The race was created to encourage the community to participate in a celebration of our city’s history.

Parking
All runners are to park in the city parking garage at Cinnabar and 83rd Ave. Please access the garage from the south.

Registration Categories
Race management is committed to providing high-quality events at a reasonable cost and pricing for the Peoria Pioneer Days 5K Run includes several early-bird registration discount options. The event will take place rain or shine, with no refunds available.

5K Entry
$15 through 2/28/10
$20 3/1/10 - 4/6/10
$25 Race-day

1 Mile Walk Entry
$10 through 4/6/10
$15 Race-day

Awards
All registrants will receive a t-shirt.
Top male and female finishers, Age group awards in the 5K run presented to the first, second, and third place finishers in each group (13 and under, 14-19; 20-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+).
All 1 Mile Walk Finishers will receive a finisher's ribbon.

Race/Bib Numbers
You will be issued a bib number with a pull tag attached to it. You must leave the tag attached until after you cross the finish line. This tag will allow you to be identified correctly in the results.

Course Information
5K: The 5K (3.1 miles) will begin and end near the Peoria Community Center. The course will be on city streets and wind through residential neighborhoods. More Course Info...

Race conditions are typically 65°F at race start with clear skies. Check out the current conditions and forecast so that you can be prepared!

Post-race
Awards will be conducted at the conclusion of the race.
